For the second year in a row, SummerGlen has been named by "Where To Retire" Magazine as one of America's 100 Best Master-Planned Communities. The national magazine annual searches the country for the communities that represent the best in active adult living for its readers

"More than an honor roll, our 2005 selection of America's 100 Best Master-Planned Communities tells the story of significant retirement trends for the next half of this decade," "Where To Retire" stated in the opening of its July/August 2005 cover story. Among the trends the magazine noted were:

• More planned communities in suburban and semirural areas
• More empty nesters making preretirement moves
• Green space as a primary amenity
• Home prices are rising as planned communities prove extremely successful.

SummerGlen made the coveted "Where To Retire" list based on several of these important trends, as well as its very attractive and affordable lifestyle and planned amenities package.
